(3) According to GB 51309-2018 "Technical Standards for Fire Emergency Lighting and Evacuation Indication System", except for the panel of the sign light on the ground, tempered glass with a thickness of 4mm or more can be used. The panel or lampshade of the sign lamp shall not be made of fragile or glass materials.

(4) For places with an indoor height greater than 4.5m, select extra large or large sign lights; for indoor heights of 3.5m-4.5m, choose large or medium-sized sign lights; for places with indoor heights less than 3.5m, choose medium-sized lights Or small sign lights.

(5) When marking lights are installed outdoors or on the ground, the protection level should not be lower than IP67.

(6) Marking lights should be continuous.

Third, the function of fire emergency sign lamps

Fire emergency sign lights can effectively help people identify the evacuation location and direction in a thick smoke, and quickly evacuate smoothly along the lighted evacuation indication signs to avoid causing casualties. Above the safety exit or evacuation exit, the evacuation aisle shall be provided with fire emergency sign lights.

Fourth, the daily inspection of fire emergency sign lamps

(1) Check whether the appearance structure of fire emergency sign lamps is damaged;

(2) Check the working status of the fire emergency sign lamps. Once the light source is turned off, the direction of the evacuation indication is changed, or the fault indicator is lit, it should be repaired or replaced immediately.
